THE ASK
We respectfully request seed support of $25,000 (or partial funding toward that goal) to launch pilot programming across nine living centers of abundance. A full pilot year is scoped at $100,000; year-one operations across all tracks is $350,000.

WHAT THE PROGRAM DELIVERS
• Natural medicines education — proper, safe, protocol-led usage
• Organic Sustainable Life Agriculture Center — healthy food from seed to store
• Cultural Arts — hula, mele, storytelling, crafts, Hawaiian martial arts
• Language and Art Center — ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi as primary language; English as second
• Universal Science / wayfinding — non-instrument navigation (sun, moon, stars, stones, waves)
• Canoe construction & practice — with prayer and forest protocol before, during, and after
• Cultural healing & wellness — mind, body, spirit, emotions
• Sacred sites & heiau field trips — protocol, chants, kuleana, care of place
• Culinary Arts — Hawaiian food preparation and cultural meals

WHY THIS MATTERS
Government and community succeed when people succeed. This program builds capacity — not dependency — in residents, keiki, kūpuna, farmers, healers-in-training, and language learners. It aligns culture, food security, wellness, and local economic participation in one integrated model.

HOW FUNDS ARE USED (Phase 1 Seed — $25,000)
• Curriculum and safety protocols (including natural medicines)
• Pilot workshops: language, agriculture, culture
• Seeds, tools, and craft materials
• Starter kumu / instructor stipends and community outreach

For a full pilot year ($100,000): ~35% kumu & local staff, 25% programs & materials, 15% ʻāina/agriculture, 10% field trips & sites, 10% scholarships/access, 5% admin & reporting.
